a) first of all, check your firmware version (if you already have the newest one, you do not need this tutorial)
b) download latest XPERIA NewFlasher from HERE
c) download also latest Android 8.0.0 Oreo (mirror) for Sony XPERIA XZ1
d) unpack downloaded firmware and than also XPERIA NewFlasher to same folder
e) if you are flashing your phone first time, install drivers for Flashtool (they are packed together with NewFlasher)
f) note, that app need atleast 10 GB free space on yout hard drive for flashing, also make backup of your data in phone, they will be erase (you can remove userdata.sin from firmware files and han you data will stay in phone, but it is not recommended)
g) turn off your phone, connect phone to PC with holding volume down button and than start newflasher.exe (select N twice, when program ask you to things about TA)
h) after few minutes all is done and your phone gets the new firmware and you can start it
i) if you need specific firmware customization or different phone version (different to G8342), you can use XPERIA Service
